I didn’t think of it in those terms at that point, but I just looked back at my own experience and said ‘where are the pain points that matter to me in business? And how could I develop technology to help other business owners get past those pain points more efficiently? Because for me, to have the energy and enthusiasm to build a business, it generally needs to be around solving a pain point that I’ve personally experienced. I can get very passionate about solving that because it’s one that I’ve lived with.”
